A couple of my boys were arguing in the lunch line last week. One of them told the other that he was going to tell his mama on him. The other said, "I have a mama, too. Your mama is a Christian, but mine is from the ghetto." I guess he meant that your mama is nice, but mine will kick your ass and think nothing of it.
We just finished 9 weeks' testing last week. The results were awful. No one passed the reading test, only 2 passed the language test, and 3 passed the math test. It was dreadful. I understand that these results were pretty much the norm across the district, though.
